*”WOC Redeeming The World”* is a call to action, a celebration of resilience, and a testament to the power of women’s voices in the struggle for a more just and equitable world. Through these films, we are invited to witness, to listen, and to stand in solidarity with those who are redeeming the world, one story at a time. This curated program of short films, spanning non-fiction, documentary, and experimental genre, showcases the work of women filmmakers from the Global South. Their stories are as much personal as they are political. Through their lenses, we witness the intersection of struggle, survival, and the unyielding strength of women who bear the weight of systemic oppression, yet continue to resist, rebuild, and reclaim their narratives. All proceeds from this screening will be directly donated to the mothers of martyrs in Nour Shams Camp, a community that has borne the burden of systemic violence and displacement. By supporting this program, you are not only amplifying the voices of women filmmakers from the Global South but also contributing to the material survival and dignity of those who continue to fight for justice in the face of unimaginable loss.
